My best friend

 If tomorrow starts without me, please understand I finished my race while God took my hand, understanding his life. He never let me go. He was my companion when the world didn’t know. I cried so many times she had so many tears but finally, I’m going home, but please know I’ll miss you through the years, I’m going to be reunited with those that have went on. I can’t wait to see my best friend, but I want to see my savior number one through Jesus I am saved and every day when I wiggle my toes, he runs straight away to my father, he goes to our father every day asking for my forgiveness. 

There is honestly so much that could be said about this life the challenges that you think you’ll never overcome that someday you’re sitting there like how did I do that? How how how as you  look around? It’s gone. It was God all along. He already knew your story. he already knew your destiny. He gave all faith. It was what you did with it that makes the difference. He knew I was feeling he already knew he knew where I would go wrong. He knew One take that path and he knew the outcome but he allowed me to go. That is an amazing savior.! As of today, August 27, 2024 I can tell you that I’ve never ever thought I would outlive grief from my precious husband dying. I wish a thousand times 1 million times I wish he was here but only if he was whole again I never wanted to see him back and he was.. our motto played out through the storm our joy cometh in the morning and gosh did it. He is happy today. He is whole today. He is safe and home.

Some Glad morning when this life is over I’ll fly away to a land, where joy shall never end oh I’ll fly away. 

We met my savior Jesus Christ. I will be taking to my father were there will be no words I could say or do to thank him for  all he has ever done in my life. 

I’m gonna go find my best friend. I have questions for her, but I won’t know them there, but I will know her. I love her and I miss her so bad time heals a lot of things, but you never forget. I’ll always cherish our friendship the love she had for me, she will always be one of my greatest gifts ! She stand down on me all the time. I know she does. I see her in all the little ways. I see her watching me. She’s rooting me on Patti go go Patti go that’s exactly exactly what she’s doing because that’s what  she.done in life everyday.


Until we meet again, keep shining hold time to her father’s hand and never let go.

Reality. Sinks In

  There comes a time in life where you realize that you don't have to please everybody else just yourself. To be ok with the person you look at in the mirror, you go to bed at night and you wake up to each morning is set Heaven ready and ok with themselves is the time you finally realize "I done all I could do God". Maybe it wasn't the right choice for everyone involved, maybe you failed your children in ways that they will never understand. Someday their children won't understand either so you just know you did ok with what you did, made mistakes but at the end of the day ask yourself "Did anyone die"?, did it scar you so bad you can't go to work tomorrow? January 12. 2014 1st Post

 If you have a chance to make things right today, I beg of you to do it. Tomorrow will never be promised us and today is not done. People expect only good to come to us, but good can always come through trials also. My husband and I are examples of just that. For those of you who may not know our story: On December 21, 2013 my husband developed the flu, and was very sick. I rushed him to the hospital the morning of the 22nd because I could not get his fever down (104.5) they treated him and said yes he has the flu. Home again we believed everything would get better with the Tamiflu. One week later he was still sick, and had a terrible cough, it was the weekend so not much we could do. On Sunday my daughter-in-law went into labor, so him not able to go I went for us both to welcome our new grandson baby Silas, born on Monday December 30, 2013 at 4:09 PM, love him so much and would never change my time of being in Labor and Delivery with my son and daughter-in-law.
