How Precious is Time
How precious is time, there is no value to cherished memories. People wonder and sometimes ask why do you take so many pictures, this is just one small example to remind me how quickly time fades and things change in a blink of an eye. Top picture taken 2 years ago other one today, we didn’t know what would lie ahead for me (for us). The cross and bench area is a memorial area I started creating in Philip’s memory. Sometimes when your soulmate is cremated it can leave you with no place to go and ponder over days gone by, so I started creating this in his honor. I have a long way to go, but it will come just as sure as death will come to us all one day. When we are called away there will be things left undone for the day. List that will be left half finished, or words left unsaid, but I pray that there won’t be one picture I forgot to take to tell what will be to late to say and memories to hard to remember. Reminiscing days gone by are easier because I took the time with Philip over the years to snap that picture because I knew when my momma passed away, I didn’t have enough pictures to cherish her precious memory. Words left unsaid, heart shattered from the lose of her and the selfishness I felt inside without here her. I took advantage of every single day I was gifted with my mom without knowing one day it would be gone. In that instant when breathe leaves that body and a hole left that nothing can fill; pictures tell the story of days gone by. Memories fade as we get older, pictures only fade if you never take them. Today take a picture of your loved ones even if their not looking because I can tell you from my own personal experience; life does change, heartache does come, and memories do fade away. Pictures remind you through the grief journey of the laughter and beauty of the ones gone home. I hope I have said something that would encourage someone today to take sweeter time to cherish what could be gone tomorrow. Laugh those amazing belly laughs, smile with a unconditional heart, give the free give of a picture and a word of kindness. Valuable’s don’t always cost a thing just someone to see the value in a gift. I love you all, snap that picture and smile for me. ❤️❤️
